Prime Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic most sharply condemned murder of Dimitrije Janicijevic and offered Serbia’s assistance to EULEX and KFOR in the investigation.
“Any sort of destabilization of situation, along with violence threatens to undermine peace and safety of citizens,” said Dacic and added that motive for the murder is not known but stressed that the crime will have political consequences since it is about murder of councilor, that is politician.
“I don’t know what is the inspiration and reason, but since it is about the member of the political organization, the one that participated in recent local elections, it certainly has political implications and consequences,” said Dacic. “We’ll absolutely offer all possible assistance and support in investigation in order that perpetrators are found,” stated Dacic.
