Ambassadors of Great Britain and Norway in Kosovo Ian Cliff and Jan Bratu yesterday paid the visit to Gracanica and discussed with the Mayor Branimir Stojanovic political and economic topics and mutual cooperation. It is their first visit to Gracanica municipality after local elections in November.

Ian Cliff said that he expects continuation of good cooperation with the newly elected leadership of Gracnaica. “Policy of British government is that Serbian community remains here. We support the role of Serbian community and hope that we will have good cooperation with the new leadership of Gracanica,” said Cliff.

Mayor of Gracanica Branimir Stojanovic thanked Cliff for his support and expressed hope that the visit is only the beginning of good cooperation. “I believe that this visit is beginning of good cooperation and Gracanica municipality will always be open for all initiatives and full cooperation with the United Kingdom,” said Stojanovic.

Stojanovic also conferred with the Ambassador of Norway in Kosovo Jan Bratu who said that  they had constructive talks where they discussed potential cooperation between Gracanica municipality and Norwegian Embassy in Kosovo. “There are lot of things we could do together, we wish to be of use and constructive,” said Bratu.
