The Vetevendosje Movement believes that the opposition needs to oust the current government before the country goes to parliamentary elections. Vetevendosje organizational secretary Dardan Molliqaj told lajmi.net that it is very important for the opposition to bring down the current government. “Vetevendosje is ready for elections whenever they will be held. Both June and September are good dates for us. But we are certain that the opposition needs to bring down the government,” he said.

Molliqaj also said that the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) bears the biggest responsibility why the Thaci government is still in power. “In 2013 we initiated a motion of trust against the Thaci government, but opposition parties failed to support it. The LDK bears the biggest responsibility why the current government is serving out a full mandate, because the LDK first enabled the creation of the Thaci government and together with the AAK are enabling Hashim Thaci to continue his governance,” Molliqaj added.
