The Spokesperson of the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Maja Kocijancic, stated on the verge of today’s round of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, that complete implementation of Brussels Agreement is important now. “Progress has been reached, but there are still open issues,” said Kocijancic to the journalists, and added that these issues will be discussed during the meeting of the Prime Ministers of Kosovo and Serbia, Hashim Thaçi and Ivica Dacic at the working dinner with Catherine Ashton.

She did not want to talk about the announced elections in Serbia and in Kosovo, calling these “internal matters,” of each country, however she added that they should not impact the process of normalization of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

“Both countries have proved determination toward dialogue and we expect for this to continue, despite of who is going to be in the Government in Belgrade or Pristina,” she stated.

The 21 round is the first one to be held this year and it will start at 17:00 hours with initial bilateral meetings Ashton – Dacic, then Ashton – Thaçi, to continue with the joint working dinner at her cabinet.
