Central Election Commission has decided to certify the final results of extraordinary elections for Mitrovica North mayor that took place on 23 February 2014.
According to final certified results, the winner of elections is Goran Rakic from Serb Civic Initiative with 2 778 votes, respectively 52.84 percent.
In addition, the CEC announced that on 10 March it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Republic of Albania’s Central Election Commission aimed at strengthening cooperation abd exchanging experience between the two institutions.
