AKR Deputy Leader and mayor of Gjakova, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, says that new scenarios for the election process are appearing in Kosovo every day. “Motions, petitions and I do not know what else are being signed, in the very year of regular elections,” she says. In one, two or several months, things cannot change in relation to the functioning of the state.
Describing irregularities in Gjakova, where the previous mayor was from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Kusari – Lila says that she would rather sign a petition for encouragement of the independent judiciary.
To those who initiate petitions to bring down the Government in the year of elections, I recommend an additional annex in the petition for the legal state, for functional justice and security of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. I would sign that petition with pleasure. The first one should be left to political marketing, as I believe that was its intention,” writes Kusari Lila.
