Hundreds of citizens have gathered today at ‘Shatervan” square in Prizren, and marched towards the Municipal Assembly, requesting resignation of the mayor of this city, Ramadan Muja.

Citizens of all ages gathered for the march which started at 12:00 hours. “Ramadan go,” and “Resignation,” were some of the calls of protesters. The Court found Muja guilty for abuse of official position. After the two day protest of the citizens, Muja has suspended his position for an undetermined time, however this is considered illegal by the citizens, since suspension of the position is not recognized as a legal category in Kosovo. The citizens, and opposition parties want his resignation.
