Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said today that the ruling Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) should not be part of the next central government, if Kosovo wants a different kind of governance. He said the current government lacks arguments for another mandate and that it would be useful for them to go in the opposition.

“The Thaci government has worked against itself … The future government of Kosovo should consist of people who want to make changes,” Haradinaj said.

The AAK leader criticized other opposition parties for not supporting his party’s initiative to bring down the current government. He said that his colleagues in the opposition helped create the circumstances that Prime Minister Thaci is using now.

Haradinaj also said that national elections should be held in the first week of June.
