Kosovo Government harshly condemned ambush attack towards Kosovo policemen in duty in Zubin Potok.
This is a cowardly attack headed towards security of Kosovo citizens and institutions of Kosovo and as such punishable, says in the announcement of Kosovo Government
In the announcement it says that Kosovo Prime minister, Hashim Thaçi, after the information about this attack he talked with Minister of Interior Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi and asked him to undertake all measures that perpetrators of this attack to be brought before justice and to receive their deserved punishments. The attack was also condemned from the president, Atifete Jahjaga.
In an ambush in vicinity of Zubin Potok, yesterday evening at about 22:00 hours have been injured three members of Kosovo police. According to the police information ambush was set up in village Banjsko, Zubin Potok municipality and three of the policemen are from Serb community, but it has been learned that they are out of danger.
