Assembly of Kosovo is resuming its plenary session today and is expected to review the draft law on general elections as well as the draft law on Kosovo Liberation Army veterans. According to Lajmi, Vetevendosje will vote in favour of the law on KLA veterans as will PDK and AAK. Vetevendosje MP, Rexhep Selimi, said they will vote for the law although they believe the veterans deserve much more than what is stipulated in the draft, while AAK’s Ahmet Isufi said the law needs to be passed as soon as possible so that the sacrifice of KLA veterans is legally recognised.
