“The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) wants a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), but this coalition is damaging and will not happen. The LDK will go to elections alone, and we are confident that we will win, because the time has come for this governance to end,” Haki Rugova, LDK deputy leader and mayor of Istog, said in an interview for Kosovapress.

“I know that they (PDK) want a coalition with us, because we were always there for them in difficult times. There is no decision yet but we are confident that we will not enter into a coalition with the PDK. We will look into the possibility of cooperating with smaller political parties,” Rugova said.

“We are confident that we will win the elections. The time has come to end the constant degradation of the state of Kosovo. I am confident that the LDK can lead the state of Kosovo; it can implement necessary reforms and we can bring economic development, rule of law, eliminate corruption affairs, and resolve crimes.”
