Kosovo’s Foreign Affairs Minister Enver Hoxhaj said he believes Slovakia will one day recognize Kosovo’s independence. “I think the day will come when Slovakia will recognize the independence of Kosovo,” Hoxhaj told Pravda newspaper. He added that since the declaration of independence, 96 member states of the United Nations have recognized Kosovo’s statehood. Hoxhaj also mentioned the ruling of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) which said that Kosovo’s independence is not in opposition with international laws and UN resolutions.
