Deputy Prime Minister, Hajredin Kuçi, stated for Klan Kosova broadcaster that the Parliament will dissolve after the approval of the Election Law  and the Armed Forces of Kosovo.

“We have an agreement with LDK to dissolve the Assembly and we are going to respect it. Two issues remain prior to the dissolution: the Law on elections and the Armed Forces of Kosovo.

He said that approval of the Armed Forces of Kosovo cannot be left for the next legislature, because members of the List Srpska are expected to become deputies of the parliament, and different from the current minority deputies, they can be less constructive and impede establishment of this force.

Speaking about the special court, Kuçi said that they did not vote for the court, but for the partnership with the U.S. and EU. “We have reached to this point together with the U.S. and the EU and we will continue further together,” he said.

“Our intention was to let justice decide. I am convinced that our war has its legality and legitimacy. This is what happened at Hague. We have to admit a fact: after the procedure of the Council of Europe, a judicial response was required, and we gave them this response,” said Kuçi.
