The leader of the biggest opposition party, LDK, Isa Mustafa, appealed on the political parties to unite on unblocking the political and institutional stalemate, in order for Kosovo to move towards the elections.

LDK appeals to the other opposition parties, but also to the current governing coalition, to unite on finding a solution. The solution is dissolution of the Assembly of Kosovo and setting of the date for early parliamentary elections. Therefore, in order to unblock the political and institutional stalemate, LDK calls all parties to overcome narrow personal and party interests. Dissolution of the Assembly with an agreement and consensus on the date of elections, is a precondition for fair and democratic elections,” wrote Mustafa on his Facebook profile. “We guarantee our votes and request from all the other parties, including those in the current coalition, to vote without conditioning establishment of the Kosovo Armed Forces, as soon as possible,” wrote Mustafa.
