A picture taken from a video footage appeared on the social networks showing an ISIL jihadist fighter holding Kosovo passport in his hand.
In front of him is a man holding a speech with the microphone in one hand and a long knife in the other hand, with the flying black flag of the extreme Islamic organization in the back.
Since the beginning of clashes in Syria, three years ago, media reported on departure of young men from Novi Pazar (Serbia proper) and Kosovo to ISIL ranks. According to unofficial data, around 150 Kosovo Albanians called ‘Al Kosovi’ are involved in fights in the region. However, it remains unclear from the footage broadcasted by Sky News, whether the footage is made in Iraq or Syria.
