Kurti explains requests made to the coalition to the Finnish Ambassador (kohaonline)

Leader of Vetëvendosje movement, Albin Kurti together with Puhie Demaku, Secretary for foreign relations Puhie Demaku and member of the leadership of this movement, Visar Ymeri, hosted today the Ambassador of Finland in Kosovo, Ms. Anne Meskanen.

According to a press release issued by Vetëvendosje, Kurti spoke at this meeting about the recent developments in Kosovo and about Vetëvendosje’s proposal submitted in written to the partners of coalition for harmonization of positions.

“We have proposed to change the framework and the kind of the dialogue, by advancing from a closed diplomatic dialogue to an open, democratic and social one within Kosovo, and together with the European Union. We consider that the dialogue which has been held so far and which suspended all internal developments cannot continue. So, we have had three years of asphalt and dialogue and no economic, healthcare or education development,” said Kurti.

Speaking about his vision of the future government of Kosovo, Kurti said the new government has to have a special focus on fighting crime and corruption.
