The Chairmanship of the Assembly of Kosovo, met today to discuss the procedures of the constitutive session of the new Assembly of Kosovo. The meeting comes a day after President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, decided to call the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo on 17 July.
Xhavit Haliti, the outgoing Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, stated after the meeting that “the name of the person that will sit on the chair of the Assembly Speaker is still unknown,” however, according to him, the Democratic Party of Kosovo will be the first one to propose the candidate for this post. “However, politics is politics, you never know,” he added.
