The Central Election Commission (CEC) did not accept the appeal that the Progressive Democratic Party (PDS) filed after the announcement of the final results of parliamentary elections in Kosovo.

Leader of the Progressive Democratic Party, Nenad Rasic said that despite the evidence and indications that the recent elections were held with a number of irregularities, the response of the Panel of Appeals was negative. “According to the explanation we received, we believe that no one dealt with it seriously. We think that it presents the additional evidence and gives us more material to intensify the process of fight for truth,” said Rasic.

He added that the Progressive Democratic Party will continue to fight for its rights through various legal institutions and stressed that it is only a matter of time when they will succeed in their struggle.

Progressive Democratic Party, led by Nenad Rasic, after the announcement of the final results of the parliamentary elections in Kosovo, filed three complaints to the CEC, Panel of Appeals. They referred to the preliminary results of the elections in Kosovo North, conditional votes which were received through Postal Office from central Serbia and inequality in media presentation. As Rasic explained, some programs broadcasted political programs that favored only one political party.
