Returnee Bogosav Dabizavljevic was stoned in Klina by a group of Albanians twice in the past week, according to the Ministry of Communities and Returns.

A younger group of Albanians thrown stones at Dabizavljevic (returnee to Klina as of 2007) and insulted him. The same group made greater damage to his orchard, which is the part of his house.

Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic strongly condemned the attacks on Dabizavljevic and urgently requested the attackers to be found and punished.

“We demand from all stakeholders to find and strongly punish people who make this misdeeds, and thus prove to potential returnees, and those who returned and live here, that Kosovo is a stable society in which all citizens are equal,” says minister Jevtic.

He added that such events do not lead to the stabilization of communities and are very bad message to those who wish to return and live in Kosovo.

“If the international community, Kosovo Police and KFOR do not find perpetrators as soon as possible, I’m afraid that such attacks, and possibly large-scale attacks will be more frequent,” said Jevtic.
