According to the recent report of “Global Peace”, FYROM is the most unsafe country in the Balkans, INA news agency reported. The study, which assesses the security situation in 162 world countries, ranked FYROM at the 87th place, behind Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania and other Balkan countries. One of the study’s paradoxes concerns Serbia which has been ranked ahead of all Western Balkan countries at the 52nd slot, ahead of Montenegro in the 55th. Albania is one slot behind Kosovo, at the 65th place while FYROM is set at 87th place. From the countries in the region, Slovenia is ranked the most favourable at the 14th place, followed by Croatia at 26.
