The Office for Kosovo has called on the authorities and international community to shed light on the murder of Serb children in Goraždevac and on all the other crimes committed against Kosovo Serbs.

Not even 11 years after the crime was committed have the persons who shot at Serb children swimming in the Bistrica river been discovered, nor have the murderers of 14 Serbs who worked in the field in Staro Gracko or those who killed the Stolić family from Obilić been caught and nor have those who killed the passengers of the Niš-ekspres bus in Livadice been found.

Incidents making Serbs feel unsafe in Kosovo continue, such as the attack on the property of Serb returnees in Gnjilane and Istok. That clearly confirms that much more work in the field is required, including the presence of the international community, in order that conditions for normal life of all the people in the Province be created, the Office states. On August 13, eleven years will have passed since two Serb boys were killed and another four wounded from an automatic weapon while swimming in the Bistrica river.
