Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, member of the presidency of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), argues in her opinion piece that the LDK was always open for cooperation with parliamentary parties but that cooperation with the current leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is absolutely impossible. “In the current political circumstances, where the PDK cannot secure 61 votes in parliament, it is trying to cause institutional instability through new elections which are not supported by parliamentary parties or by the international community … Regardless of how much time it buys by delaying the establishment of institutions, the PDK will not manage to have the majority in parliament … Buying time will prove useless, because it will not change the position of political parties who are refusing to cooperate with the PDK.”
