Group of activists formed the Serbian national forum (SNF) in Gracanica, an organization whose goal is to assemble the intellectual elite of Kosovo Serbs and solving problems of the Serbian community, reported RTK2.

– The idea came from the need to include an intellectual force of the Serbian people in Kosovo and therefore propose solutions for problems related to the Serbian people in Kosovo, ranging from everyday problems, which may be trivial for some, to those very painful and difficult ones – said one of the founders of the forum professor Aleksandar Djikic.

Initiators have announced that they will organize a forum roundtables and panel discussions that will indicate the position of the Serbian community in Kosovo.

The forum will also critically monitor the work of the authorities in Pristina and Belgrade, said journalist and member of the SNF steering committee Djordje Jevtic, noting that the established organization “is not an opposition group.”

The SNF Constituent Assembly will be held in late September when the leadership will be elected, and one of the following topics will be addressing the situation around the temple of Christ the Saviour in Pristina.
