Isa Mustafa, the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), wrote in his Facebook profile about the plan for the Assembly session which will be held tomorrow.

“Dear citizens,

The constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo will be held tomorrow. We are going to this session more united than ever to find solution on building the democratic institutions, to open development perspective of the country and keep and strengthen partnership with the U.S and EU countries.

The elections of this year were held to elect the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, who gave their oath and represent interests of the citizens. It is deputies’ responsibility and will to elect Assembly bodies and the government. This responsibility is guaranteed by the Constitution of Kosovo.

No political party came out as a winner of the majority of the votes of the citizens, that would enable them to be winners in advance, but majority will consolidate at tomorrow’s Assembly session based on their programme interests. Kosovo is in need to build a sustainable parliamentary democracy, therefore each result that will derive from the vote of the deputies, will be acceptable, as an act of the majority,” wrote Mustafa.
