Beside Visoki Decani Monastery, radical Islamists attacked one of the greatest Serbian monasteries in Kosovo – the Patriarchate of Pec. Albanian Wahhabi screamed and insulted nuns, mostly old women from 70 to 90 years.
Escalation of the incident was prevented by The Police, which is guarding the Patriarchate. The investigation about the incident is on-going, as in the case of Decani Monastery, whose desecration was continued yesterday, when new graffiti reading ISIS and AKSH appeared at the entrance gate.
Wahhabi, Muhamed Beqiri (22), previously known for extreme behaviour, was detained and remanded in custody.
