Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic has supported the request of displaced Serbs from Đakovica/Gjakovë, who have recently addressed the public and the US Embassy to Kosovo requesting respect for human rights.

“Right to return, right to unhindered and full freedom of movement, and right to property are basic human rights. I fully support the request of displaced Serbs from Đakovica and appeal on Kosovo institutions to help them in realizing their rights,” said Jevtic and added that it is sad that fifteen years after the conflict Đakovica/Gjakovë still hasn’t open its doors for return of displaced.
