Government Office for Kosovo Director Marko Đurić and Finnish Ambassador Pekka Orpana agreed Wednesday the Belgrade-Priština dialogue “needs to continue”

It should “facilitate the normalization of relations and help improve the quality of life of the citizens in Kosovo and Metohija,” the office said in a statement.

Đurić spoke to the ambassador of Finland and his deputy Outi Isotalo “about the current situation in the province and Belgrade’s expectations concerning the provincial government to be formed, as well as the implementation of agreements reached within the framework of the Brussels agreement between Belgrade and Priština.”

“Fully implementing the Brussels agreement, setting up the community of Serb municipalities and resuming the dialogue with Priština, and also resolving daily problems faced by the citizens of Kosovo and Metohija, are currently the most important issues for us to focus on” Đurić said.

Đurić said that Belgrade wanted relations to stabilize and get normalized, which he said called for “a constructive partner.”
