At a debate organized by the NGO Fol (Speak) the United States Ambassador to Kosovo Tracey Jacobson reflected on the latest incidents at Visoki Decani Monastery and said that she is glad that everyone has condemned spraying of the graffiti, and that Islamic Community of Kosovo has paid a visit to the monastery and showed solidarity.
“I hope that perpetrators will be found, because people should learn to live together in peace, whereas such attacks are not contributing. I think it is silly to say that monks, themselves, have sprayed the graffiti or that KFOR or Kosovo Police did it, I think that is not normal,” said Jacobson.
Jacobson also said that it is terrible that no one has been arrested or sentenced after attacks and incidents against Serbs in Klina/Klinë and voiced expectation that perpetrators will be found and brought to justice.
