Another returnee’s house was burglarized in Drsnik, in Metohija. Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic condemned the attack and assessed that it is about serious intimidation and jeopardizing of returnees and that ongoing incidents and attacks on properties owned by Serbs create an impression that situation in Klina/Klinë municipality is slightly getting out of control.
“Even though reactions were supposed to take place long time ago and perpetrators, of at least some of incidents, brought to justice, relevant authorities did nothing. That’s why perpetrators don’t have a feeling that they should stop. However, we didn’t exhaust the strength to fight through institutions for the safety of returnees, and we’ll keep doing it, because that is our human and moral obligation,” said Jevtic.
