Minister of Sport in the Serbian Government, Vanja Udovičić, and Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, said today in Mitrovica that complete Serbian Government will take care about young in Kosovo.

Serbian officials took part today in a public debate on the National Strategy for Young in Mitrovica. “This document, proposed by the Serbian Government, is a document of all ministries and ministers, and of all citizens of Serbia it refers to, because there is a desire to improve the life of young in this region, in order that we could rely on them later,” said Udovičić.
“The Strategy deals with various topics, however the most important matter for Serbian Government is to decrease unemployment and to inspire youth to be more active, since that is the only way to address problems,” Udovičić said and assessed that unemployment rate is worrying.

Đurić said that Serbia needs educated, young and energetic ones who are able to settle problems which elders were not able to resolve. “University of Pristina, with the temporary seat in Kosovska Mitrovica, is the pillar of existence of Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, and with the support of the state we want all wise heads in Serbia to gather and engage in settling problems in Kosovo and Metohija, and wider,” said Đurić.
