After the reach of the agreement for coalition, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK,) and the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK,) have started division of ministerial posts. They have established technical groups, which are expected to finalize the agreement during the next days. Eight ministries will belong to PDK and LDK, while three others are reserved for the minority community.

Despite the statements from LDK that the post of the prime minister will belong to this party, Hashim Thaci has not mentioned his giving up from this post at any occasion. He instated that working groups will divide responsibilities. “The post of the prime minister will belong to LDK. The President and U.S. Ambassador Jacobson are guarantors of this,” said Bajram Gecaj, member of this party.

The coalition will also have to decide on the eight ministries “We have started the discussions and I believe that these things will be defined by the next week,” added Gecaj.
