No party has expressed interest to compete in the extraordinary elections for the Mayor of the Municipality of Graçanicë/Gracanica. At least none of the parties applied for certification, even though the deadline is tomorrow, 23 December. Valmir Elezi, Spokesperson of the Central Election Commission, confirmed this news.
“Central Election Commission informed the political parties on the day of the approval of the operational plan, also about the legal deadlines for application. I can confirm that no political party applied so far. CEC will consider all applications and it will decide if they fulfill the legal criteria. The parties are scheduled to draw lots for ranking on the election ballots on 30 December,” said Elezi.
