Kosovo Police from the station in MItrovica North, arrested today Nazmi Ismajli, representative of Albanian population from “Kroi i Vitakut” neighborhood in Mitrovica North,  at around 11:00 hours, while he was working on the foundation of his house. He was interviewed for one hour and then he was released by regular procedures, but with the advice to interrupt rebuilding of his house, without obtaining a permission. “Yes, it is true. They arrested me and held me at the police station for one hour. They told me that I should not continue with works prior to receiving the permission. Why should I be equipped with a permission when I have lived here even before the war,  while Serbs, even those who never lived here before, build without permission and they do not have any problem,” said Ismajli.  He said that he is determined to continue to build his house, and that he will only wait a few days for the concrete to dry.
