‘Hot potato’ in the hands of Serbian representatives in the Kosovo government will undoubtedly be forming of the so-called Army of Kosovo, the issue posed by their coalition partners Isa Mustafa and Hashim Thaci. According to Branimir Stojanovic, Deputy Prime Minister of the provisional institutions, the address on which will be discussed the issue is – Brussels.
“After the first of the next meetings of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the topic will be on the agenda. But it is quite clear that our position on the transformation of the so-called Kosovo Security Forces into the Army of Kosovo is negative,” says Stojanovic.
The previous convocation of the Kosovo authorities also tried to impose the issue of forming the army of Kosovo. Due to the expected opposition of Serbian representatives in the Kosovo government, the issue will be discussed in the framework of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
