The President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, said that the issue of posts was never mentioned during her discussions with Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa on creation of the new government. She also denied to have been asked to hand over her mandate.

Jahjaga admits to have requested unblocking of the situation, however she does not want to comment on who will be the President of Kosovo in 2016. “The agreement reached at my office was an agreement in principal, and the issue of positions and names were never mentioned. The President has a five-year mandate, and mine is until 2016,” Jahjaga.
