Serbian national forum (SNF) has sent a letter to the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic stating that Kosovo and Metohija is “nationwide problem that requires the involvement of all rational and intellectual forces of our nation and state. Serbian national forum believes that in the search for the Kosovo solution, as first, should be included forces from Kosovo and Metohija, such as SNF.” They recalled that “SNF was recently established in Gracanica in order to bring together the intellectual forces of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, with the primary objective to protect and affirm the Serbian national interests,” was said in the letter.
“Because of that we seek reception of SNF delegation, composed of university professors, prominent writers, publicists, journalists, businessmen, public and cultural workers who live in Kosovo and Metohija, or as IDPs in Central Serbia. In open and frank discussion we will present you our vision of the problem; we will introduce you with the real situation in Kosovo and Metohija and will contribute to your intention in drafting such an important state documents, like it is proposal for Kosovo solution,” was said in the letter.
The president of the SNF, Dr. Alexander Đikić, proposed meeting between representatives of this organization and President Nikolic, for second half of January.
