Jablanovic has no idea that massacres happened in Kosovo

(RTK1&KTV)

Minister of communities and return at the Government of Kosovo, Aleksandar Jablanovic, said that he has no idea that massacres happened during 1998-1999 in Kosovo.

In an interview with KTV Interactive show, Jablanovic said that he was a teenager at the time of war, and that there was no war in Leposavic/Leposaviq.

Minister Jablanovic said that Prime Minister Isa Mustafa never called him to ask about his contradictory statement.

Jablanovic said that he did not insult Gjakovë/Djakovica mothers of the missing, but those that threw stones at the buses with Serbs. He said that does not think of resigning, or to stop calling Kosovo with “Kosovo and Metohija”.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties are requesting dismissal of minister Jablanovic, and decrease of Srpska List’s role in Kosovo Government, KTV reported. According to them, PM Isa Mustafa is not managing to do this.

RTK1 reported that League of Kosovo Historians, Deçan/Decane branch, have officially requested from Prime Minister Isa Mustafa to dismiss Minister Aleksandar Jablanovic. The reaction of Deçan/Decane historians follows the statement of minister Jablanovic, who called Gjakovë/Djakovica mothers of the missing as savage.

On the other hand, Ombudsperson continues to insist on Jablanovic’s dismissal. A reaction issued by the Ombudsperson Institution says that it is intolerable for the Ombudsperson that a member of the Government, irrespective to his community – majority or minority, not to recognize Republic of Kosovo as a sovereign and independent state.

The Ombudsperson says that no democratic nation in the world would accept to be represented by someone that denies the existence of the state that he is believed to serve.

“People of the Republic of Kosovo is not and should not be different in this regard,” the reaction of Ombudsperson Institution further underlines.

Minister Maric does not use Kosovo logo on official documents

(KTV)

Aleksandar Jablanovic is not the only minister that is coming out against the Kosovo state. Different from his predecessor, the current minister of local government administration, Ljubomir Maric, has decided not to place Kosovo logo on announcements of this ministry. His other action is boycott of Albanian language, which is the first official language in Kosovo, in these announcements.

In some of them, which were sent by Ilija Savic on minister’s behalf, the Albanian language is not used at all. The announcement is only in Serbian and English, while Kosovo is not mentioned in them, accept in cases such as “Meeting with US Ambassador to Kosovo”.

Former minister Slobodan Petrovic, who also came from the Serb community, used to act completely different from this. Kosovo state logo was constantly used in announcements, and they were in three languages.

At the same time, since Maric came to led this ministry, besides of not containing any sign of Kosovo statehood, their writing style has also changed. In some of them, the Serbian is already written in Cyrillic alphabet.

In a written response, MLGA officials admitted that there were such cases when the state was denied; however, according to them, these problems have been overcome.

Kosovo opposition parties consider Maric’s actions concerning, illegal and anti-constitutional.

Municipality of Gracanica/Graçanicë does not recognize Kosovo

(Klan Kosova)

In its announcement for inauguration of the monument of Serbian King Milutin, the municipality of Gracanica/Graçanicë, which functions under the institutions of Prishtinë/Pristina, does not recognize the state of Kosovo.

The announcement states that monument of King Milutin in Gracanica/Graçanicë is the first of this King in Serbia.

(All monitored broadcasters, KTV)

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hashim Thaçi considers the visit of Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic to Kosovo as normal. He said that there is no reason to be afraid.

However, Thaçi admitted that he does not know what Vucic’s agenda will be: “Vucic has his agenda, and we have ours,” Thaçi said.

Thaçi made these statements during a press conference with Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati in Tirana. On Monday, Thaçi was awarded Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Tirana.

Other TV broadcasters reported that Serbian PM Vucic postponed his visit to Kosovo for 14 January.

Zbogar made these statements during a meeting with Kosovo PM Isa Mustafa on Monday.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Mustafa expressed Kosovo Government’s willingness to strongly engage in addressing all the issues related to European integration processes.
