The Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic did not accept to seek forgiveness for crimes committed by Serbs in Kosovo. When he was asked about this matter, he ironically avoided this question.

“Let’s go the next question,” Vucic said.

Vucic, who visited Kosovo on Wednesday, considered recognition of Kosovo by Serbia a dream.

“This question was a kind of big dream, or what? Is there any other more serious question, as I gave many direct responses,” he said.

Asked why he did not meet Kosovo PM Isa Mustafa, Vucic said that he will be meeting him in Brussels.

Vucic, same as all other Serbian officials, used his official visit to make nationalistic calls that Kosovo is part of Serbia.

At the inauguration ceremony of maternity ward in Pasjan village, he called on Serbs to continue to make as many children as possible, and to stay in their settlements, as the Serbian state will continue to support them in all the necessary fields, and that he will personally visit them each year.

After visiting Strpce/Shtërpcë, Vucic inaugurated the monument of Serbian hero – Milutin. Addressing thousands of Serbs, Vucic had a message for Serb officials at the Kosovo Government.

“I have a message for Serb officials that were appointed in Prishtinë/Pristina. They must work for these people. If they have joined to become rich and the people are poor, than they must leave,” Vucic said.

Three Serb officials of the Kosovo Government, minister without portfolio Milan Zdravkovic, minister of communities and return Aleksandar Jablanovic and Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic, were part of Vucic’s delegation.

Furthermore, in his speech, the latter referred to Kosovo territory as Serbia.

Serbian PM’s visit to Kosovo was marked with many protests. Vucic himself complained that his vehicle was kicked several times on his way to Gracanica/Graçanicë.

Kosovo opposition parties react against Vucic’s statements

Vetëvendosje Movement reacted against the visit of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to Kosovo. This political entity considers that his visit is only a symbolic of Kosovo’s non-recognition by Serbia.

On the other hand, the AAK caucus expressed its confidence that statements of Serbian government officials do not change from the past. Furthermore, according to AAK, they correspond with the darkest times of Serbia’s past.

“Unfortunately, the same mentality is continuing now with statements of the Serbian Prime Minister Vucic, who declaratively is claiming that Serbia has changed and it is on its European path; however, Vucic demonstrates it with actions that he has not changed at all from his political predecessors with his behaviour and stances toward Kosovo,” the AAK reaction states.

Nisma për Kosovën (NK) also reacted against Vucic’s visit. This political entity asked Kosovo Government who issued the permit to a Prime Minister who openly has territorial claims toward Kosovo, and who continues to call Kosovo as cradle of Serbia.

Jablanovic recalls the war in Kosovo

(KTV)

Before pretending to having lost his memory, minister of communities and return at Isa Mustafa’s Government Aleksandar Jablanovic, spoke about the war far away from Leposavic/ Leposaviq, where he grew up as a teenager.

In November 2013, a day before the elections, talking to TV Mir, Jablanovic seemed to be expressing his regret that he could not personally fight for Serbia in Kosovo. However, he used to say that people of his party fought at the frontline in Koshare and Morinë.

“In Kosovo elections, we come as serious and responsible people, as people that were the first who turned out in barricades. I cannot say this about myself, as I did not have the chance to do so, but among us we also have people that were the first turned out in fighting to defend Serbian state in Koshare, Goruzhup and Morinë. We have such people among us. Are these people traitors? These people have defended their country, and we would turn out in these elections if the Republic of Serbia and Government of Republic of Serbia would not have called us to do so,” Jablanovic had stated.

Jablanovic also had spoken about the reason why Srpska List was formed, that is Serbia’s survival within Kosovo, in all life spheres.

“Srpska List was formed with a single goal – survival of Serbia in Kosovo, survival of Serbian institutions, without which the people cannot function and this is related to education according to Serbian curriculum, health and social welfare. We are interested to show the people that Republic of Kosovo justice system will not be our justice system after the elections. There might be some documents that write Republic of Kosovo, but we have to admit that Criminal Code of the Republic of Serbia is almost the same with the one of the Republic of Kosovo, and it is written by the Brussels and EU,” Jablanovic had stated.

Jablanovic used to state that the only Prime Minister for him is Vucic, and the only legitimate government is the one in Belgrade.

In the meantime, Diaspora Minister Valon Murati asked the Kosovo Government on Wednesday to take a stance regarding recent statements Minister Jablanovic. Addressing Government’s meeting, Murati stated that Jablanovic’s statements are anti-constitutional and insult Gjakovë/Djakovica mothers.

Prime Minister Isa Mustafa responded to him that they are not in the Assembly. Following this, microphones were turned off; therefore, media representatives could not follow the meeting for 20 minutes.

PDK MP Nait Hasani acquitted

(Klan Kosova)

The Prizren Basic Court acquitted PDK MP Nait Hasani on Wednesday. He was accused of not declaring his assets.

The difference highlighted in the indictment, between what Hasani had declared and what the Assembly reported was EUR 5,285.04.

In his final statement, Hasani said that he personally filled the form of asset declaration, but he emphasized he did not aim to hide or misuse anything.
