“The Brussels Agreements signed by the Serbian Government with Pristina started to show the disastrous consequences for the national and state interests of Serbia in Kosovo and Meothija,” communicated Kosovo branch of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS).

In a statement forwarded to media provincial branch of the DSS stressed that “membership of self-declared republic of Kosovo in various international institutions and organizations, and hasty plundering of the property of the Serbian state in southern Serbian province should not come as a surprise”.

“Events with regard to Trepca are only one example of a catastrophic national policy of the government of Aleksandar Vucic,” reads the statement. Kosovo branch of the DSS also suggested steps which could be taken by Serbia for protecting Trepca, and said that executive director of Trepca should resign due to embezzlements, whereas Serb ministers and mayors should leave Kosovo institutions. According to the DSS it is a particular absurd that Belgrade is having talks in Brussels over the division of property, since Kosovo and Metohija is part of Serbia.
