Former regime of Boris Tadic (former president of Serbia) is most responsible for current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, said official of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Aleksandar Martinovic, and rejected criticism that actual problems with Trepca comes as a consequence of the manner in which this government had negotiated the Brussels Agreement.

“Only with the government of Aleksandar Vucic we have a clear policy toward Kosovo and Metohija, and very clear and decisive relation when it comes to Trepca, and property of all Serbian companies in the province,” said Martinovic to Tanjug.

Social-Democratic Party of Boris Tadic earlier informed that problem with Trepca comes as a logical consequence of the manner in which the government had negotiated the Brussels Agreement, and that this issue is now in the focus of the public because citizens were deceived as of 2013.

“SNS most adamantly rejects all accusations of the former regime represented by Boris Tadic and SDS because they are the most responsible ones for situation in KiM, particularly when it comes to Trepca issue,” said Martinovic and added that SNS will do its utmost to protect state interests in KiM, and property in the province, in line with the domestic legislation and international law.

Martinovic went on to say that regime of Boris Tadic did nothing in the United Nations in order that problem of Kosovo and Meothija is resolved, whereas talks between representatives of Belgrade and Pristina were held, at that time, behind the closed doors and citizens knew nothing what was negotiated about.
