Rašić on Jablanović – Politics is cruel sometime (KIM Radio)

Dismissal of Aleksandar Jablanović comes as a result of dissatisfaction of the opposition and of a part of society with the political situation in Kosovo, following parliamentary elections, claims the only MP in the Kosovo Assembly from the ranks of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDS), Nenad Rašić.

Rašić stressed that situation has culminated after Jablanovic’s statement, which offended mothers of Đakovice/Gjakovë and Self-Determination Movement. ‘Did he deserve it, I think not, after he apologized, but politics is sometimes cruel,” explained Rašić. He went on to say that Jablanović would not be able to carry out his work efficiently if he would remain the minister for communities an return.

“I am sure that adequate replacement will be found through a coalition agreement and that new minister will be able to work for the benefit of those who wish to return,” said Rašić and added that a sort of balance should be found in time to come and that efforts should be invested in calming down the situation exactly for the sake of Serbs who are supposed to return.

“If one wants to return (displaced) people from Đakovica, then a terminology should be found which is balanced in order to assist your own people,” concluded Rašić.
