Vucic will decide if Srpska remains in coalition with PDK and LDK

(KTV)

Srpska List leaders will travel to Belgrade on Thursday to consult the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic about leaving the governing coalition with PDK and LDK, or not. In a pronouncement for KTV, leader of this List, Jablanovic, said that they will make their decision public within this week.

“Within these days we will decide whether we will remain in the Government, or not. In any case, we as Srpska List will consult among ourselves about this issue, but we will also talk to our Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic,” Jablanovic said.

According to the Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS), Government has options even in case that Srpska List decides to leave.

KTV sought responses for the steps that the Government plans to take in relation to the coalition partner and the ministry of returns and communities, but Government spokesperson Arban Abrashi did not respond.

In the meantime, RTK2 reported that Qaush Bala of LDK has been appointed as the first deputy minister of returns and communities, and that he will lead the ministry until the new minister is appointed.

No interpellation of Prime Minister for Jablanovic

(KTV)

With his decision to dismiss the Serb minister Aleksandar Jablanovic, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa not only avoided citizens’ pressure through protests, but he also avoided confrontation with the MPs.

AAK which insisted on interpellation for Tuesday, and not Thursday, says that there are no more arguments for Mustafa’s reporting at the Assembly, having in mind that Jablanovic was dismissed.

However, they will not stop regarding Trepça until their request is met. Ilir Deda of Vetëvendosje also said that there are no more reasons for Prime Minister’s interpellation, but only as far as Jablanovic is concerned, while they will continue again for Trepça, either with interpellation or protest until this request is met.

Both in AAK and Vetëvendosje say that the people marked victory with dismissal of the Serb minister.

Hungary negotiates returns of Kosovars with Serbia

(KTV)

Number of Kosovars that are illegally entering Hungary remains enormous. According to the most recent data of Hungarian Embassy in Prishtinë/Pristina, in January only, over ten thousand Kosovars have applied as asylum seekers in this country.

With this, Kosovo has become the country with the biggest number of requests for asylum, overcoming Syria which is in civil war, and the constantly troubled Afghanistan.

According to the Hungarian Embassy, big number of asylum seekers goes beyond the sheltering capacities that this country has. Certainly, there will be no asylum for Kosovars.

The news was confirmed to KTV by the Hungarian interior minister, Sandor Pinter. He said that Kosovo is a safe place and no one can be granted asylum in Hungary. Furthermore, to return Kosovars massively, Hungary is talking to Serbia to use its roads.

On the other hand, Kosovo interior minister is surprised by Serbia’s approach to allow organized crime to happen in its soil.

Hyseni was in Hungary in his first visit abroad to see situation of Kosovars from the first hand.

FM Thaçi: Illegal migration is as result of the six-month political deadlock

(TV21)

Foreign Minister Hashim Thaçi said on Wednesday that fleeing of citizens is a price that Kosovo is paying because of the six-month political deadlock.

In an interview with Voice of America Thaçi said that migration of the population is not a phenomenon that is happening only in Kosovo. According to him, other countries of the region have also experienced this trend prior to liberalization of their visas with Schengen countries.

He underlined all the ones that have illegally migrated to EU countries will be returned to Kosovo.

Meanwhile, EU Ambassadors accredited in Kosovo warned on Wednesday that none of the illegal migrants that are heading to the West will find shelter, and they will be returned back. They conveyed this message to interior minister Skënder Hyseni in a meeting held at the EU Office in Prishtinë/Pristina which was hosted by the EUSR – Samuel Zbogar.

According to the minister Hyseni, liberalisation of visas would stop and put illegal migration under control. He also stated that the majority of Kosovo citizens are migrating due to economic reasons.
