A working group for Serbia-Albania cooperation has been formed in Tirana. By April 1, the group will have formulated a draft cooperation document, on which a framework agreement has already been reached in Germany. The group was formed after talks between Serbian Deputy PM Zorana Mihajlović and Albanian Minister for Economic Development Arben Ahmetaj. Thus we will technically realize what the Serbian and Albanian PMs agreed on at a conference on the Western Balkans in Berlin in August last year, said Mihajlović. She said that the working group will be engaged in large infrastructure projects, such as the building of the Niš-Priština-Tirana road, Corridor 11 from Belgrade to Montenegro, the reconstruction of he Belgrade-Bar railway and its connection to Albanian ports, etc. This was the first bilateral meeting of high Serbian and Albanian officials in Tirana after 23 years.
