The issue of Trepca can’t be resolved by the Kosovo government, but neither by the Serbian Government as well. Trepca has to be discussed, as was agreed. The situation over Trepca is currently overcome since the issue will be discussed in the course of property distribution, when that issue comes on Brussels’ agenda, said Mayor of Leposavić/Leposaviq, Dragan Jablanovic.

“We have no dilemmas when it comes to Trepca, majority share-holder is State of Serbia through its Development Fund. Trepca has its debts and claims. When all this is put on the paper it will be decided what belongs to whom,” said Jablanovic and added that part of Trepca that is located in northern Kosovo and Metohija belongs to people who are in the north and work in the company, and to local self-governments where company’s branches are located.
