The Family Medicine Center in Prizren, supported by UNICEF, has begun with home medical visits for mothers and children. The director of the Medical Centre, Mehmedali Gashi, said that medical visits at home aim to improve the health of mothers and children. According to him, the Ministry of Health, and other institutions, NGOs and other partners, supported the development of an inclusive package on home visits for children and mothers, as a strategy for investment in healthy and productive future of all the communities . “Our objective is to protect and advance the health and the welfare of women and children of all communities in Kosovo,” said Gashi.
