The Special Chamber of the Supreme Court has set the date of the 1 November 2016 as the deadline for the Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK) to submit the plan for the reorganization of Trepca enterprise. According to the verdict, PAK is advised to inform immediately Kosovo authorities for the financial needs, and for the engagement of the bidder for professional services in the procedure of Trepca’s reorganization. “The Court considers prolongation of the deadline for the submission of the plan for reorganization to a maximal available period, justifiable,” says the verdict of the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court, which clarifies further that 1 November 2016 is 36 months from the deadline for the submission of the requests, which was 1 November 2013. “In order for the Court to keep the procedures under control, the Agency has to present reports about the current situation every three months,” is written in the verdict.
