Integration of Serbian police officers into Kosovo Police will be discussed at the meeting with the representatives of the Kosovo Police, announced Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia Nebojsa Stefanovic.

At the session of the Serbian parliament’s committee for internal affairs Stefanovic said that the meeting will also be used for discussing the range of other security issues in relation to security of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, carried Tanjug.

“We’ll insist that perpetrators of the murder of Serbian gendarme Stevan Sindjelic at the administrative boundary line with Kosovo and Metohija are brought to justice,” said Stefanovic

Member of the Committee Goran Bogdanovic said that all police officers from northern Kosovo want to be integrated into Kosovo Police, as was the case with majority of them, in line with the Brussels Agreement. Bogdanovic also asked Stefanovic what will happen with those who are not integrated into Kosovo Police because Pristina authorities don’t want to integrate them.
