The European Union Office in Kosovo considers unacceptable the initiative of the Municipal Assembly of Ranilug to name a road in this municipality with the name of late Serbia President Slobodan Milosevic. According to the news portal, the EU Office said that such initiative does not contribute to dialogue and understanding between different communities in Kosovo. “Proposal to name a street after a person indicted by the Hague Tribunal is unacceptable,” said EU Office officials. The EU Office called on politicians at all levels in Kosovo to leave behind the past and focus on the future.
