Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Xhavit Haliti, stated that Kosovo institutions will not discuss creation of the special court for war crimes in Kosovo with the authorities of Holland. He said to the journalists that Kosovo authorities will discuss the court with Brussels, even though the headquarters of the court is expected to be in Holland. “Brussels will discuss with Holland, not the Assembly of Kosovo. I believe that this is how it should be,” said Haliti.
Haliti also said that the motion of the Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, regarding the constitutional responsibility of the government of Kosovo on the special court, requested by Vetevendosje Movement, was postponed for the next week. Head of the parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Donika Kadaj Bujupi, criticized Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, for failing to send the working plan of the government to the deputies of the Assembly. She explained that the rule obliges the government to send for discussion at the Assembly its 100 day work plan. “We know that the working plan paper will be completely white, because there was no performance. There were only managements of crises caused by him, however the Prime Minister should face deputies regarding the 100 day work of the government,” she said.
