Association of families of kidnapped and murdered in Kosovo and Metohija marked the 11th anniversary of Pogrom against Kosovo Serbs in 2004, whereas Serbian deputy war crimes prosecutor Bruno Vekaric said that the paramount goal is to find kidnapped and that perpetrators are brought to justice.

“Our paramount goal is to find them, and to try to reach those who committed the crimes. Our public is aware that we are looking for 115 perpetrators of those crimes,” said Vekaric in front of the improvised ‘wailing wall’ with photos of 2,500 kidnapped and murdered Serbs.

Vekaric stressed the importance of the creation of a special court for war crimes in Kosovo, and added that this would be an opportunity for families of kidnapped and murdered Serbs to present their stories at the international scene.

Representative of the Association Simo Spasic also stressed the importance of the creation of the special court in order that perpetrators are brought to justice. Spasic added that families of missing and kidnapped are not only marking the anniversary of Pogrom against Kosovo Serbs but they are marking 17 years from the execution of first killings, kidnappings and other crimes against Serb civilians, police officers and soldiers. He also said that ‘Albanian terrorists intended to accomplish in 2004 what they started in 1998”.
